The Aspen Program for Ethical Health Care Leadership is a 3-day intensive retreat in beautiful Aspen, Colorado, where selected executive leaders from health care organizations across the US work together on real-life case studies that pose some of the most difficult dilemmas in health care today. The program has selective admission, with attendance limited to 100 individuals, in order to ensure that each participant will have ample opportunity for direct interaction with their peers and with our renowned faculty. The Aspen Program is creating a unique space where leaders can interact, network and learn from each other by practicing the application of an ethical โ€˜lensโ€˜ to help better understand and address complex organizational and policy challenges.

The program features a faculty of remarkable thought leaders with outstanding facilitation experience. Attendees include executive leaders from private and public hospitals and healthcare systems, major pharmaceutical corporations, and nationally-known health care ethics professionals. By bringing together leaders from across the health care system, the program aims to provide both deep understanding and broad perspective on the ethical challenges facing health care. .

The inaugural program was held in 2016 and it received high praise from faculty and attendees alike, many of whom will be returning for the 2017 program.
